KING G3 PRODUCER
Coming out at the onset of the AIDS crisis, Pete decided early on to dedicate his life to making a difference in the LGBT Community. He has served on numerous boards, raised millions of dollars for charitable causes and produced huge events including pride events in San Francisco, Oakland and Hayward , walkathons for AIDS and Multiple Sclerosis, the Hairrison Bear Street Fair in San Francisco, The Lifespan 10K across the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge, The ILGA World Summit, The Official Worldwide Stonewall 30 Celebrations in Oakland and Johannesburg, The first AIDS Quilt display from Africa, the first queer hip hop festival "Peace Out," The 1986 Interpride Conference, CAPI Conferences (including the first one), the first Bay Area Police LGBT Sensitivity Training and the largest ever rainbow flag display.
Coming back to Arizona in 2009 to retire and care for his mom, Pete got involved with the local Tucson community, creating social events like G3, special events like the June SummerPride Festival and a variety of dance parties and theatrical shows. He has also spearheaded several community initiatives including the ENGAGE Blockparty to celebrate the Supreme Court's Marriage Equality decision and The VETO SB1062 campaign.
When he is not organizing something he is most likely indulging his other great passion in life --- traveling and exploring the world.
Ray studied to become a waiter at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles (hence the sexy headshot). A social worker and networker, he helps those in need through his non-profit organization "Unstoppable Tucson" --- and he's engaged to a super cute guy.
