Coming out at the onset of the AIDS crisis, Pete decided early on to dedicate his life to making a difference in the LGBT Community. Coming back to Arizona in 2009 to retire and care for his mom, Pete got involved with the local Tucson community, creating social events like G3, special events like the June SummerPride Festival and a variety of dance parties and theatrical shows. He has also spearheaded several community initiatives including the ENGAGE Blockparty to celebrate the Supreme Court's Marriage Equality decision and The VETO SB1062 campaign.
When he is not organizing something he is most likely indulging his other great passion in life --- traveling and exploring the world.
