As a gay person one of the cool things about Tucson is you can pretty much go anywhere and not be hassled. This is especially true in the downtown 4th Avenue/Congress Street area. Although small compared to other cities of similar size, promoters doing events at different venues are slowly bringing Tucson's queer nightlife scene back to life after seeing half a dozen gay bars close in the past decade.

Taking place in everything from upscale resorts to dive bars, every third Friday hundreds gather for cocktails at a different venue for Tucson's top networking and socializing event. This makes every G3 something not to miss!
The College Dance Bar

Right on the 4th Avenue strip, this iconic gay club has been at the heart of Tucson's dance and drag scene for decades. Shows every Wed, Fri and Sat night, go-go boys on weekend, kareoke, special events and a pub menu

This traveling drag circus freak show is the antithesis of the "I've seen that before" bar queen show. Hosted by Jenna DuMay, it takes place (more or less) every month at different locations.

Allonna Dee hosts this monthly show every second Thursday at Sky Bar featuring burlesque performers, live acts, and magicians as well as drag performers (including age 15 to 21 with guardian). Nail Polish supports SAAF's PREP Program.
