A Message from G3
Several of us on the G3 Team were friends of the men who were killed at The Venue N and out of respect for the victims, their friends, families and loved ones --- and our community that is shaken --- we have decided not to hold G3 on Friday September 4th as previously planned but to postpone for a week to allow all of us some time to heal.
Even though we are grieving and angry and saddened we also feel strongly that our community must not give in to hate or allow ourselves to be intimidated or forced to hide back in our closets, so we are moving ahead full steam with our plans to celebrate our community the following Friday, September 11 at BLOCK A.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
From Pete, The Producer of G3 Events
I am familiar with the feeling of grief one feels after losing someone to hate. September 11th has personal significance for me because I lost someone dear to me that day, my boyfriend Mark Bingham, who died a hero on United Flight 93 that went down in Pennsylvania.
LGBT+ people are all too familiar with discrimination and hate and prejudice, but part of our strength lies in the fact that we are able to respond with renewed care and support for each other.
IT IS IN THIS SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AND OF TOLERANCE AND OF LOVE OF LIFE THAT WE ARE MOVING FORWARD.
I want to express my appreciation to the owner of BLOCK A for his compassion and especially to the gay staff members of BLOCK A and their sister restaurants in Tucson for the support.

Let's Get Together
A brand new sports bar with state-of-the-art video walls and sound has just opened in downtown Tucson and the owners have generously offered to shut the place down on Friday September 11th for our community to gather together for a special G3 Gay Happy Hour!
So throw on your favorite team jersey and head on down to BLOCK A, located at the corner of 4th and Congress. There will be a big (fully staffed) bar and a complete dining menu featuring appies, pub grub and dinner options.
Sport teams will be on hand with info tables for our cocktail mixer from 5-7PM where we will be playing lounge music so you can chat and mingle and then from 7-10PM we'll crank up the DJ!
For over a decade G3 has been bringing the LGBT+ Community of Southern Arizona together for quality social mixers and special events.
We've organized events at over 50 locations around Tucson and supported and organized multiple charitable efforts, but the core of what we're about is simple: providing unique, fun and friendly opportunities for the gay community to meet up, hang out, and make new connections.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
G3 welcomes everyone 21+ regardless of genders, orientations and identities and expects respectful behaviors from all guests at all times.
